The Grand Junction, CO Fire Department received a donation of personal protective equipment on Wednesday May 20th. The PPE Kit Drop was provided by Hill People Gear, a family-run business headquartered in Grand Junction, Co that produces quality, efficient performance gear built to solve problems for those that participate in backcountry travel for both work and pleasure and MyMedic™,  also a family-operated business based on the objective to save lives and is driven by a goal to prepare everyone with equipment and training for the unexpected emergency. Based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, MyMedic  believes everyone should have instant access to a life-saving First Aid Kit.

First responders wear PPE on every call. Not just the ones where someone is suspected of being infected with COVID-19, so they go through PPE pretty quick. This donation will be put to good use.
